During our trip, we discovered Mastro’s restaurants which offer some of the best steak and most elegant atmosphere in Phoenix-Scottsdale. Mastro’s has three locations around Scottsdale, including two steakhouses and the ocean-seafood version. The three amazing restaurants are the:

When it comes to great steak, great atmosphere, and an amazing experience for your night on the town after golf, pool, and spa – Mastro’s is the place. The bar scene at all three restaurants is also outstanding. The style and elegance of the Mastro’s restaurants is in tune with the Scottsdale vibe, and they have excellent service. We tried a great glass of chardonnay with our meal from the extensive wine list at the Ocean Club.

We recommend all three Mastro’s and hope you check it out. They are definitely a place to “see & be seen” in Scottsdale – reservations recommended.

After searching high and low for great pizza around Phoenix – Grimaldi’s is some of the best pizza we have ever tried. With natural ingredients and a crispy coal fired crust – it is not to be missed. The pizza joint at DC Ranch near Scottsdale was overflowing with satisfied patrons and excellent pizza. A large pizza runs around $15 plus $2 per topping. The coal fired oven gives a unique and satisfying taste that our family loved. Grimaldi’s is mostly in Arizona, but also in Vegas and around Dallas Texas.

Grimaldi’s is based on the award winning location in New York and Hoboken New Jersey. “Patsy” Grimaldi’s is the West Coast version.
